Original design by Mutartis Boswell. Many ancient Oaks or "BellyOaks" that have grown very old and gnarly have devil legends attached to them. The Belly Oak in Savernake forest has some local folklore claiming that dancing naked around the tree at midnight can summon the devil. In this design, we see a faun or pan-like being emerging from the ancient twisted Oak. Spring is rising!
